Data Protection

BabyIN provides services to the end customer on the basis of a separate agreement, which primarily regulates the scope of services and the associated tariffs in detail. In addition to the points in this agreement, the general terms and conditions of babyin.ch listed below apply.

 

All services offered are aimed exclusively at private customers.
The babyin.ch website is managed by BabyIN and is therefore subject to the same data protection declaration as BabyIN.

 

Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the federal data protection regulations (Data Protection Act, DSG), every person has the right to protection of their privacy and protection against misuse of their personal data. We comply with these provisions

a. Personal data is treated as strictly confidential and is neither sold nor passed on to third parties.

 

In close cooperation with our hosting providers, we strive to protect the databases as best as possible against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or forgery. babyin.ch guarantees that the data sets provided or generated by the client will be used exclusively for this agreed collaboration.

 

Territorial restrictions
The babyin.ch website is addressed to natural and legal persons as well as partnerships and institutions or similar (hereinafter collectively: persons) based in Switzerland. The website is therefore not aimed at people who are in the European Union or the USA.

 

The website can basically be used without providing any personal data. We collect the name of your Internet provider and key data about activities on the website, such as clicks on functional fields, in order to continually improve our offering.

 

However, no conclusions can be drawn about the individual person using this data. Personal data is only stored if it is entered as part of an inquiry or registration on the website. By entering your data, you agree that your data can be used accordingly; this also includes use for marketing purposes.

 

What data is stored?
All data that you disclose on babyin.ch will be collected by us. This can be personal data using a contact form, a request for free and independent advice or an application form for a change of health insurance provider

 

The babyin.ch website is subject to BabyIN’s data protection regulations.
Every time the website is accessed, general data and information is stored directly in the server’s log files. What can be recorded are the (1) browser types and versions used, (2) the operating system used by the accessing system, (3) the website from which an accessing system accesses our website (so-called referrers), (4) the sub-websites which are accessible via an accessing system on our website is controlled, (5) the date and time of access to the website, (6) an Internet protocol address (IP address), (7) the Internet service provider of the accessing system and (8) other similar data and information that serves to protect against threats in the event of attacks on our information technology systems.

 

When using this general data and information, babyin.ch does not draw any conclusions about the data subject. Rather, this information is needed to (1) deliver the content of our website correctly, (2) optimize the content of our website and the advertising for it, (3) ensure the long-term functionality of our information technology systems and the technology of our website and ( 4) to provide law enforcement authorities with the information necessary for criminal prosecution in the event of a cyber attack. This anonymously collected data and information is therefore evaluated by babyin.ch both statistically and with the aim of increasing data protection and data security in our company in order to ultimately ensure an optimal level of protection for the personal data we process. The anonymous data in the server log files is stored separately from all personal data provided by a data subject.

 

Due to legal regulations, the babyin.ch website contains information that enables quick electronic contact with our company and direct communication with us, which also includes a general address for so-called electronic mail (e-mail address). If a data subject contacts the person responsible for processing by email or via a contact form, the personal data transmitted by the data subject will be automatically stored. Such personal data transmitted on a voluntary basis by a data subject to the data controller will be stored for the purposes of processing or contacting the data subject. This personal data will not be passed on to third parties.

 

Restriction of processing
Restriction of processing is the marking of stored personal data with the aim of restricting their future processing.
